Man’s Body Found Floating In San Francisco Bay

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A man’s body was found in the Bay on Tuesday evening, San Francisco police said Wednesday.

Police were notified at about 5:20 p.m. that the body was found floating in the water between San Francisco’s Pier 33 and Treasure Island.

The man, who was about 50 years old, has not yet been identified, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Medical examiner’s investigators concluded that the body had been in the water for about two weeks but have not determined whether foul play was involved in the death, police said.
