Man Escapes Injury In San Francisco Bayview District Shooting

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man escaped injury in a shooting outside a home in San Francisco's Bayview District on Wednesday night, police said Thursday.

The shooting was reported at 9:43 p.m. in the 1000 block of Palou Avenue.

The 21-year-old victim was standing in front of a house when someone opened fire, police said. He was not hit by the gunfire.

The shooter then fled in a gray vehicle and had not been found as of Thursday morning, according to police.
