Man Found Shot Dead Inside SF Outer Sunset Garage

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A 67-year-old man was found fatally shot in a garage in San Francisco's Outer Sunset neighborhood on Saturday evening, police said Monday.

The victim, identified by the medical examiner's office as Xue Zhong Mi, was found shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday by a family friend who went to pick up belongings at a home in the 1800 block of 44th Avenue, police said.

Mi was found lying in the garage and responding firefighters pronounced him dead at the scene. Medical examiner's investigators then discovered a gunshot wound to the back of Mi's head and said the case was not a suicide, according to police.

No arrests had been made in connection with the shooting and no suspect information was available as of Monday morning, police said.
