Watsonville Stab Victim Clinging To Life; Manhunt For Suspects

WATSONVILLE (CBS SF) A person is clinging to life from a stabbing Sunday night in Watsonville and police are searching for the suspects, police said Monday.

Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 1000 block of Freedom Boulevard at about 10:50 p.m., according to police.

Reporting officers found a person suffering from stab wounds, police said.

The victim, 30, of Watsonville, did not cooperate with detectives and was transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries considered life-threatening, according to police.

At least two suspects were seen running from the scene, police said. No arrests have been made and the motive of the stabbing remains under investigation.
