Pixar, Lucasfilm Settle Lawsuit Alleging Wage-Fixing

SAN JOSE (CBS/AP) -- Lucasfilm and Pixar have settled a lawsuit that claims they and other giant companies conspired to keep wages down by agreeing not to poach each other's workers.

Federal judge Lucy Koh filed a document Sunday indicating that lawyers for the companies had notified her of the settlement. Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.

The San Jose lawsuit still continues against Apple, Google, Intel, Intuit and Adobe.

It contends they schemed to cheat employees by artificially suppressing the demand for their services.

Emails seeking comment from Lucasfilm and the Walt Disney Co. which owns Pixar, weren't immediately returned Monday.
