LIVERMORE (CBS SF) — Firefighters extinguished a one-alarm vegetation and house fire in unincorporated Livermore, according to an Alameda County fire dispatcher.

The fire department initially received reports around 2 p.m. of a grass fire in the 4000 block of Dyer Road, but crews arriving on the scene found that the flames had also spread to a nearby house, according to the dispatcher.

Firefighters were able to knock down the flames a short time before 3 p.m., he said.

No injuries were reported.

It was not immediately known if anyone was inside the home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
