Police Find Shell Casing After Fremont Shooting Reported

FREMONT (CBS SF) — Police were investigating a shooting that occurred early Friday morning in Fremont.

About 12:50 a.m., officers responded to Bosworth Court, near Alder Avenue, on a report of a gunshot fired into a home.

According to police, the resident heard a shot fired at about 12:40 a.m. and then noticed a large whole in the front door and a bedroom wall.

Police recovered a round along with a shell casing at the scene.

The shooting remained under investigation, police said.
