Fremont Teacher Arrested For Allegedly Molesting Girl On High School Campus

FREMONT (CBS SF) -- Police arrested a teacher on Friday for allegedly molesting a student at John F. Kennedy High School in Fremont.

The teacher, David Williams, 66, of Union City, was arrested just before 4 p.m. Friday on suspicion of molesting or annoying a child under the age of 18, according to police.

A parent of a student reported to police that the teacher had touched the student inappropriately, according to police.

Fremont police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques said Williams is believed to have molested the student more than once within the past few weeks.

He was cited and released after his arrest. He was expected to appear in court on Nov. 1, she said.

Bosques said there may be other victims, and anyone with information on the case is asked to call Fremont police at (510) 790-6900.
