Campbell Police Release Video Of Suspects In Shooting Outside Club

CAMPBELL (CBS SF) -- Campbell police on Tuesday released a surveillance video of four people wanted in the shooting early Saturday of a nightclub bouncer after the group was asked to turn down their music.

The 52-second video, posted by police on YouTube, shows three males and a female entering the lobby of The Spot nightclub at 201 Orchard City Drive in Campbell prior to the shooting, police Sgt. Gary Berg said.

Two of the males in the video have tattoos on their arms. The third male, dressed in camouflaged pants, has a distinctive tattoo covering the back of his right hand and is accompanied by an Asian female, Berg said.

Around 1:55 a.m. Saturday, Campbell police were dispatched to the club following a report of a shooting the parking lot.

The 33-year-old male bouncer was wounded by a single gunshot and taken to a hospital where he is now recovering, Berg said.

One of the four suspects fired a shot at him after club security employees had asked the group to lower the volume of the music they had turned on in the parking lot.

The four people fled in two cars, one a dark-colored 1990s Chevrolet Camaro, possibly with a dealer's plate, and the other a later model four-door sedan that may be light in color, police said.

The cars were last seen heading east on Orchard City Drive.

Police are requesting that anyone with information about the shooting to call the Police Department at (408) 871-5190, or to remain anonymous, Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers at (408) 947-7867.
