Salinas Woman May Have Been Sickened By Candy Laced With LSD

SALINAS (CBS) -- Officials suspect a Salinas woman was sickened after eating Halloween candy laced with LSD.

The woman ate 3 pieces of chocolate candy, including a Snickers bar and immediately started having a panic attack.

She experienced chills, stomach pain, nausea, blurred vision and slurred speech.

A doctor told police her symptoms were consistent with an "acid-based substance."

The results of her blood test are still pending.
