FREMONT (CBS SF) — Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspects who burglarized a cellphone store in Fremont on Thursday, police said.

Police said one or more thieves stole about $42,000 worth of iPhones from the retail store, located in the 43400 block of Christy Street.

Officers said 62 iPhones were stolen from the store and that the suspect or suspects left two cellphones, which were activated, in the store.

None of the 62 stolen cellphones have been activated yet, according to police.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact police at (510) 790-6800.
