SAN FRANCISCO (CBS) — Bay Area shoppers who went to Target during the security breach may have to limit their holiday spending if they used their Chase debit card.

J.P. Morgan Chase is limiting the withdrawals and purchases of their debit card customers who shopped at Target between November 27 and December 15.

The withdrawal limit is $100 per day in cash. The purchasing limit is $300 a day. Chase will also reissue debit cards.

The new limit affects some 2 million Chase customers. It does not apply to credit card customers.
