FREMONT (CBS SF) — Police in Fremont are asking the public’s help tracking down a suspect that robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Thursday.

Officers responded to the Quick Stop, located at 38995 Farwell Drive, at about 4:40 p.m. after a report that the store had just been robbed, police said.

The clerk at the store told police that she had been robbed at gunpoint and the entire cash drawer of the register was taken, according to police.

The suspect is described only as a black male with a heavy build standing roughly 5 feet 9 inches tall.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Fremont police.
