Jelly Belly Debuts Beer-Flavored Bean At San Francisco Food Show
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Beer lovers are in for a sweet surprise thanks to a jelly bean the Jelly Belly Candy Company debuted in San Francisco over the weekend.
The Fairfield-based candy company unveiled what may be the world's first beer-flavored jelly bean that took three years in the making, according to a company statement.
The non-alcoholic draft beer jelly bean debuted during the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco over the weekend.
Those looking to liven up their palate can combine the beer-flavored jellybeans with other flavors to make a beer sangria, beer cider or Michelada, according to the blog "The Beeroness."
The new beer-flavored jelly beans will be available around the world in the coming months.
