Huge Sinkhole Shuts Down Oceanfront Intersection In Santa Cruz
SANTA CRUZ (CBS SF) -- A sinkhole has shut down an oceanfront intersection in Santa Cruz Saturday morning, police said.
The intersection of West Cliff Drive and Woodrow Avenue is closed due to the sinkhole, and traffic is being diverted from the area, according to police.
Santa Cruz Public Works crews were at the scene to investigate as of 11:30 a.m.
The public is asked to avoid the area if possible and to expect traffic delays.
