1000s Turn Out For San Francisco's St. Patrick's Day Parade

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Thousands gathered along San Francisco's Market Street for the 163rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, Saturday.

It's the West Coast's largest event event celebrating Irish histry and culture. The parade showcased colorful floats, Irish dance troupes, marching bands community groups and city leaders.

The parade started at the corner of Market and Second streets and ended at Civic Center Plaza.
