MILL VALLEY (CBS SF) — A body was found Tuesday afternoon in a vehicle that went down an embankment off of Panoramic Highway on Mount Tamalpais in Marin County, a fire battalion chief said.
The vehicle was reported down the embankment shortly after 1 p.m. on a portion of the highway between Stinson and Muir beaches, California Highway Patrol Officer Andrew Barclay said.
Marin County fire Battalion Chief Mike Giannini said a body was found in the vehicle and emergency responders are working to recover it from down the embankment.
