San Bruno Police Arrest 3 Suspects Fleeing Scene Of Armed Robbery

SAN BRUNO (CBS SF) -- Three people were arrested early Friday morning in connection with an armed robbery in San Bruno.

According to San Bruno police, the suspects were fleeing the scene of the robbery in the 500 block of El Camino Real when they encountered San Bruno police Sgt. Kevin McMullan in his patrol car.

Upon seeing the patrol car, the suspects fled on foot but were detained a short time later by police.

At the same time, a man approached the officers and told them that the men they were detaining had just robbed him at gunpoint.

An investigation by the officers revealed that the two suspects had approached the victim, brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied, and as the suspects fled, they encountered McMullan.

Police arrested Jose Alfredo Aguila, 20, and Juan Antonio Garcia, 19, both of South San Francisco.

A third suspect, 18-year-old Rosemary Conception Wilson of San Mateo, was also taken into custody after she was found waiting in a vehicle near the crime scene.

All three suspects were booked into county jail in Redwood City.
