Hidden Cash Drops Send Scavengers Scrambling At Crissy Field In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — There was another frenzy for hidden cash in San Francisco Sunday, just days after the identity of the man behind the cash drops was revealed.

Scavengers hoping for cash had their best chances yet, with fourteen plastic containers stuffed with cash hidden around San Francisco’s Crissy Field.

“It’s more about the fun of finding something before other people,” Vince Darrigo of Alameda said.

Some lucky people decided to honor the request of Jason Buzi, the man behind the @HiddenCash drops, and pay it forward.

“Help someone out with it, and treat myself to a lunch after this hard work,” Jason Stitt said after finding one of the containers stuffed with money.
