OAKLAND (CBS SF) — A 47-year-old woman was found dead in East Oakland Monday morning and homicide investigators are looking into how she died, police said.

The woman was found not breathing in the 400 block of 105th Avenue at about 7 a.m., according to police.

Paramedics tried to revive her but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are looking into the circumstances of her death.

The name of the woman, an Oakland resident, has not been released pending notification of her family, police said.
