ANGEL ISLAND (CBS SF) — The U.S. Coast Guard and a San Francisco Police Department marine unit are responding Thursday afternoon to a disabled vessel near Angel Island.

Coast Guard officials said a call came in around 3:50 p.m. from a recreational boater who said his vessel was disabled and in danger of running aground on Angel Island.

The Coast Guard has launched a rescue boat and crew and police have dispatched a marine unit.

There were no reports of any injuries in the incident, according to the Coast Guard.
