LAFAYETTE (CBS SF) — Fire and rescue crews extinguished a brush fire caused by an overturned truck on a Lafayette hillside Tuesday morning, according to police.

The truck rolled down a hillside off of Camellia Lane a short time after 11 a.m., according to police.

Fire crews were initially called to respond to a grass fire but arrived to find that the vehicle fire hadn’t spread to the surrounding vegetation, according to a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District dispatcher.

No one was injured according to police.
