Dallas Cowboys Consider Adding Openly Gay Player Michael Sam To Practice Squad

DALLAS (CBS SF) — The Dallas Cowboys are considering adding the NFL’s first openly gay player to their practice squad, if he can pass their physical.

Michael Sam made it to the final round of cuts with the St. Louis Rams before being released Saturday.

The Cowboys planned to fly Sam to Dallas Wednesday to take the physical, according to CBS Sports.
