Santa Rosa Girl, Missing Since Wednesday, Safe At Home

SANTA ROSA (CBS SF) -- Santa Rosa police learned Sunday morning that a 16-year-old girl missing since Wednesday is now home safely.

Police report that Rebecca Weaver left her Santa Rosa home voluntarily on Sept. 17 around 8 p.m.

Her absence aroused concern amongst her friends and family members, partially because she has a condition that requires daily medication that she did not bring with her, police officials said.

Weaver was staying with a friend in Sonoma, and police report that she returned home on discovering that a search for her had been launched.
