Oakland Nightclub Shooting Kills 1, Injures 2 Others

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Oakland police report they are looking for suspects involved in an early-morning nightclub shooting that killed one man and injured two others.

According to police Officer Reginald Brown, the shooting happened outside a nightclub near 14th and Franklin streets in the downtown area, around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Brown said a fight broke out, followed by gunfire that injured the three men in their 30s.

One victim died at a nearby hospital, while the two others suffered non-fatal injuries, Brown said.

No one has been arrested in connection with this shooting, and police have not released any description of the parties involved.
