SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)— BART asked its riders Tuesday morning about plans to modernize two of its busiest stations as part of a new survey. Riders at Embarcadero Station were asked for their feedback and input with hopes of taking the transportation agency well into the 21st century.
The 18-month study will look at things like lighting, finishes and signage, but riders had their own concerns; mostly saying the station was too crowded, often times filthy
One rider said she needed more space to park her bicycle so she could be out of her car as much as possible. Others would like to see the installation (re-installations in some cases) of public restrooms.Comments
