3 Lanes Cleared On I-80 In Pinole After Winds Knock Eucalyptus Tree Onto Big Rig

PINOLE (CBS SF) --  The California Highway Patrol reported that all lanes of eastbound Interstate Highway 80 in Pinole were reopened early Thursday morning.

The CHP issued a Sig-alert at 3 a.m. after a tree fell onto a big-rig truck on the highway near the Pinole Valley off-ramp.

Lanes of the highway were closed as crews worked to remove the tree.

The Sig-alert has been canceled. The lanes were cleared around 5:45 a.m.
