There are plenty of frustrated gamers this Christmas as hackers are taking credit for players not being able to sign into Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network.

Microsoft and Sony’s online services first went down on Wednesday and both said the problems have continued on Christmas day.

Via Twitter, PlayStation’s support said they are still looking into the issues. Xbox also acknowledged problems and said they “are actively working to resolve [the issue].”

A hacking group called Lizard Squad has taken credit for the outages, though their involvement has not been confirmed.
