Warriors Remain Heavy Las Vegas Favorites For NBA Title Despite Two Game Skid

OAKLAND (CBS SF) - A week ago cable TV analysts were wondering aloud how you stop the Golden State Warriors from claiming the Franchise's 2nd NBA title. Fast forward to today and the team is facing a game four in Memphis that could put them just a single loss away from elimination.

For the recent arrivals on the Warriors bandwaggon it may be time to jump right back off. But loyal members of DubNation aren't giving up just yet. And it appears they have some backup: The latest lines from Las Vegas oddsmakers suggest the Dubs are still the darlings of the betting world. They're even money to win the Western Conference, and a 7-4 bet to win it all - meaning a $100 bet wins $175, according to the May 11th numbers from gaming website Bovada. Other websites, including 5 Dimes and Sportsbook.ag, similarly have the Warriors a solid favorite over the 2nd ranked Cavaliers.

As for Monday's key matchup with the Grizzlies, the Dubs are a 4 point favorite by most bookies, who don't seem to think they'll completely bust out of their scoring slump. The total points for the game is projected to be around 196 points. Essentially, bookies see the Warriors winning a 100-96 game.
