Viral 'Sink A Three' Video Borrows Beatles Tune For Stephen Curry Tribute

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Stephen Curry's three point shot is poetic, lyrical even. So it makes sense that some Bay Area fans looking to pay tribute to the Golden State Warriors sharpshooter by adapting lyrics from what is arguably the biggest band ever.

The video parody of the 1970 Beatles hit 'Let it Be' titled 'Sink A Three' was posted on May 12th and already had over 160,000 views as of Friday. Check it out for yourself here.

Steph Curry - Sink a Three by Emerson Hoff on YouTube

Emerson Hoff says he and another die-hard Warriors fan have been tracking the team all season and were inspired to produce the video while attending a game last month.

"We first started singing the song at Game 1 of the Playoffs. We were at the stadium joking around, and just started singing it. The Warriors won the game, we carried on singing, and ended up at a bar where we put 'Let it be' on the jukebox. Everyone in the bar started singing along," Hoff told the Golden State of Mind blog on SB Nation. "Every time we play the song it puts a smile on our faces."

Hoff told KPIX 5 he'd be watching the Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinal from Jack London Square Friday, no doubt hoping for a repeat performance of Curry's long-range shooting heroics from game 5.
