Grass Fire That Burned 2,700 Acres Near Livermore 100 Percent Contained

LIVERMORE (CBS SF) -- The Tesla Fire burning near Livermore in unincorporated Alameda County is 100 percent contained, according to Cal Fire.

The fire was reported at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday near Tesla and Corral Hollow Roads between Tracy and Livermore.

By 8:30 p.m. the incident had grown to 2,500 acres, according to Cal Fire.

As of Sunday morning, firefighters say the blaze has been fully contained. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
