Deep Quake Rattles Mexico's West Coast
BIG BEAR LAKE (CBS SF) -- The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 5.5-magnitude earthquake Wednesday morning on Mexico's west coast.
The tremor was recorded at 10:25 a.m. PT about 22 miles southeast of Tres Palos and at an estimated depth of 40 miles, according to the USGS.
Acapulco and Toluca residents reported feeling the quake.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
