Brazen San Jose Home Burglary Caught On Camera
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying two suspects who were caught on surveillance video burglarizing a San Jose home.
The burglary took place on Aug. 13 at 1:50 p.m. at a residence in the 2600 block of Casey Way. The video shows a woman carrying a guitar approach the residence and knock on the front door. Police believe that the guitar was to be used as a distraction or cop out in case someone answered the door.
According to police, the woman acted as a lookout while a man entered the backyard and broke into the house through the sliding glass door.

Both suspects were described as Hispanic and in their mid-20s, according to police. The man had a mustache and tattoos on his neck and arms and was seen in the video footage wearing a black T-shirt and dark sweat pants with a white stripe on the sides. The woman was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, gray leggings, and flip-flops.
According to police, both suspects fled in a late model red Chevy Camaro, which is visible throughout the surveillance video footage.
