'Mythbusters' Coming To An End After Next Season
ALAMEDA (CBS SF) -- Mythbusters is one of cable television's longest running shows, but the series will come to an end after the next season, according to the show's creators.
Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman told Entertainment Weekly they have known the show will come to an end, and that "proper final episodes" are in the works.
"We knew it at the beginning of 2015. So we've been filming the last season episodes all year long," Savage told EW.
The show has filmed many of its experiments at Alameda's Naval Air Station.
