97-Year-Old's 'Wish Of A Lifetime' Granted: She Visited Google
MOUNTAIN VIEW (CBS SF) -- When 97-year-old Olive Horrell asked for her wish of a lifetime, she didn't care about the past, or the present. She wanted to see the future. She wished to visit Google.
And, her wish was granted. Horrell spent a day exploring the Mountain View-based tech company thanks to the non-profit senior Wish of a Lifetime organization. According to the Associated Press, she told them she was interested in seeing the future because she may not be around to to see all of it herself.
Her visit was captured on video.
"I'm intrigued with the changes I've seen in my life," said Horrell, who began her formal education in a two-room schoolhouse. "It's a real learning experience for me today... Life has got to be fun."

Wish of a Lifetime is based in Colorado. Its mission is to "shift the way society views and values our oldest generations by fulfilling seniors' dreams and sharing their stories to inspire those of all ages," according to the website.
The organization was founded in 2008 by Olympic skier and former NFL football player Jeremy Bloom in honor of his grandmother. Wish of A Lifetime has granted over 1000 wishes.
Seniors can submit their wishes via the online application.
