Hwy 29 Reopens Sunday Morning After Injury Accident North Of Calistoga

NAPA (CBS SF) -- A Sig-alert was cancelled for state Highway 29 after it was closed in both directions Sunday morning due to an injury accident north of Calistoga, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported in unincorporated Napa County at 9:50 a.m. on Highway 29 roughly 1.5 miles north of Tubbs Lane.

Three parties reported minor injuries as a result of the crash, but it was unclear whether or not they were transported to a hospital, according to the CHP.

The crash closed Highway 29 in both directions and a Sig-alert was issued at 10:10 a.m., according to the CHP. That Sig-alert was cancelled at 11:36 a.m., and both directions of the highway were open Sunday afternoon.

Further details were not immediately available.
