Curry Gets Along With A Little Assist From His Friends
OAKLAND (CBS-SF) – The Beatles once sang you have to get along "with a little help from my friends" -- a statement that also applies to reigning NBA MVP Golden State star point guard Stephen Curry.
While Curry dazzles crowds every night with his ball handling and shooting skills, he often finds himself open for shots thanks to his fellow teammates.
It's what differentiates his season so far from the Western Conference's other star -- James Harden, who has to constantly create his own scoring opportunities.
A look at a list of the top five assists makers for each player bears this out.
Curry currently is the NBA's leader scorers with a 32.2 points per game average. Harden is second at 29 points a game.
