CUPERTINO (RADIO.COM) - All you need are streams.
As of 12:01 a.m. on Dec. 24, The Beatles' entire back catalogue will be available to stream. Unlike the band's contract with Apple's iTunes, which exclusively had rights to downloads, there are no such streaming restrictions.
Their music will be available on numerous streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Google Play, Amazon Prime, Rhapsody, Spotify and Tidal.
On The Beatles' website, fans are encouraged to follow along with the launch, which occurs in local time, so each time zone has to wait until approximately 12:01 a.m. to access the songs. A spinning globe on the site shows which parts of the world currently have a ticket to stream.
"Happy Crimble, With Love From Us to You," the message ends.
