Crashing Waves Cause Sinkhole, Sidewalk Collapse In Pacifica

PACIFICA (CBS SF) -- Crews in Pacifica were working to repair a sinkhole that took out part of a sidewalk Sunday.

Waves caused a retaining wall, taking part of the sidewalk with it.

A 15 to 20 foot long section of the sidewalk was damaged.

The rain was expected to ease after midnight Sunday, KPIX 5 Meteorologist Brian Hackney said.
