Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt In Crash Near Alamo Square

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision near San Francisco's Alamo Square on Tuesday night, police said.

The collision was reported at about 8:35 p.m. at Fulton and Fillmore streets.

The male motorcyclist was traveling east on Fulton when a vehicle traveling west struck him while turning onto southbound Fillmore, according to police Officer Gordon Shyy.

The vehicle ran over the motorcyclist, who was taken to a hospital with head injuries considered life-threatening, Shyy said.

No other information about the collision was immediately available, he said.
