San Jose Track Coach Arrested For Alleged Sexual Relations With Teens

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A 21-year-old assistant track coach at Mt. Pleasant High School in San Jose was arrested for alleged sexual relations with two teens, police said Thursday.

On Monday, a school district employee contacted San Jose Police in regards to an inappropriate relationship between a student and the assistant track coach. Detectives interviewed the involved parties and determined that San Jose resident Enoch Garcia was a suspect, police said.

Garcia, the assistant track coach, was arrested Tuesday for allegedly having sexual intercourse and performing lewd acts with both a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old enrolled in the school.

Garcia was arrested by the San Jose Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children/Child Exploit Detail task force and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
