Bay Area Ranks High On List Of Cities With Most Billionaires

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- With so much cash flowing through Silicon Valley, it's no wonder the Bay Area boasts plenty of billionaires.

Two cities made Forbes' list of top 25 Cities with the Most Billionaires.

San Francisco got the number 10 spot on the list with its billionaire population of 28 people. The richest individual in The City is 31-year-old Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz, whose net worth is $8.9 billion.

Down the Peninsula, the city of Palo Alto comes in at number 25, with 13 billionaires. Their combined net worth is $124.9 billion. The wealthiest among them is Moskovitz's former colleague, Mark Zuckerberg. The Facebook co-founder's net worth is $44.6 billion.

The city with the most billionaires in the world is New York. The richest individual there is former mayor Michael Bloomberg. His net worth is $40 billion.
