Firefighters Contain 49-Acre Grass Fire In Clayton
CLAYTON (CBS SF) -- Firefighters have contained a grass fire that spread to 49 acres in Clayton Monday.
The blaze was reported shortly after 11 a.m. near the 400 block of Mountaire Parkway, in the Mitchell Canyon area of Mt. Diablo State Park.
Several nearby homes were threatened.
The fire started on just 4 acres but quickly grew to 49 acres.
There were no reports of damages of injuries
