Steak 'n Shake Opening Bay Area Burger Spot On The Peninsula
DALY CITY (KCBS) -- First there was Sonic and, Smashburger, Habit and Five Guys. Now another burger place that's ubiquitous elsewhere in the US will be opening a Bay Area location.
Steak 'n Shake is opening its first ever Bay Area location in Daly City.
Despite the chain's popularity elsewhere in the country, with 500 locations in the Midwest, many Bay Area natives have never heard of it.
"I've never heard of that before," Daly City resident Ferris told KCBS.
The Daly City location will open on East Market Street by the end of next month.
