Santa Clara County Deputy In Officer-Involved Shooting In Saratoga

SARATOGA (CBS SF) — An investigation has been launched into an officer-involved shooting in Saratoga Monday night, according to a spokesman for the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.

Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Sgt. James Jensen confirmed that the shooting occurred at 7:49 p.m. near the intersection of Prospect Road and Titus Avenue earlier in the evening.

Jensen said the shooting involved a sheriff’s deputy and said standard protocols for officer-involved shooting are being followed.

One person was shot, and their condition was not known. No deputies were injured in the shooting, Jensen said.

“These types of incidents demonstrate how inherently dangerous the jobs of our deputies are.” Jensen said.

Further details were not immediately available.

Really? You made this whole f**king article about Kaepernick and don’t know if our deputy is okay or any idea what happened after the shooting is more than 2 hours old? The reporting in this town is pathetic. Not that anyone in Saratoga cares about the deputies, as long as the sheriff is safe and sound and ready to pander.

  2. Who gives a rats ass about Kaepernick. That phony has not stood up once since he was busted sitting on his ass. This author should be fired from journalism.

  3. Colin been deported yet? Muslin terrorists are not welcome in America, especially when those terrorists are part of the #BLM terror group and engaged to marry a #BLM terrorist.
