Earlier Saturday, Raisman made an appearance at a gymnastics club in San Jose, signing autographs and posing for selfies with young fans.
"It's really special to see all the girls screaming and going crazy when I come here just because I can remember being just like them," says Raisman. "I was a little girl that wanted to go to the Olympics so to see them here, I see myself in them and it's really incredible."
Raisman's advice for young gymnasts is "work hard and stay positive."
