3 Injured, 9 Displaced By 2-Alarm Fire In S.F. Sunset District

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Three people were injured and a total of nine were displaced by a two-alarm residential structure fire in San Francisco’s Sunset District Friday evening, according to firefighters.

The fire was reported at 6:41 p.m. in a three-story residence in the 1800 block of Noriega Street.

The fire was under control by 7:53 p.m., but remains under investigation.

The injured victims are expected to survive, and the Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.

Further details were not immediately available.

    At least it is the weekend and so it is a good time to go house hunting for a new place.

    These people were probably focused on their stupid day to day non-issues rather than making their homes safe. Oh well, at least they will have some fun stories to tell their grand kids, right?
