Carr and Crabtree Connect For Sixth TD Of The Season

By Rahul Lal

Derek Carr and the fiery Raiders offense has been on a tear this season. That hasn't slowed down as the Raiders put together a seven play, 75 yard drive to put up another touchdown on the Jacksonville Jaguars just before halftime.

Just before the goal line pass, Crabtree completed an incredible over the shoulder catch for 56 yards down which wound up only two yards short of the end zone. Crabtree used his combination of size and speed to beat the defender and relied on his sure hands to reel the ball in.

The quick slant into the end zone caught by Crabtree was his sixth of the season and 14th total since week seven of the 2015-2016 NFL season. That ranks for the most in the NFL with Seattle's Doug Baldwin.

The Raiders are up 20-6 at halftime in a heated matchup of two of the top quarterbacks drafted in 2014. Carr has put up 153 passing yards with a touchdown and Crabtree has attributed for 90 of those yards receiving the ball. On the other side, Blake Bortles has struggled only completing five of his 14 pass attempts and throwing an interception. The Raiders are looking to be a force in the AFC West by jumping to a 5-2 record.
