2 Earthquakes Strike Santa Cruz County

WATSONVILLE (CBS SF) -- Two earthquakes struck in Santa Cruz County Tuesday night, according to the U.S.G.S.

The first was a magnitude 3.6 earthquake just east of Watsonville at 10:02 p.m. The location is on the San Andres Fault.

The second earthquake -- located about a kilometer away from the first earthquake, was a magnitude 2.7 and struck about a minute after the first earthquake, according to the U.S.G.S. website.
