Kawhi Leonard has extended his double-figure streak to 96 games with 12 points in 27 minutes against the Kings. San Antonio is shooting 39.5% from beyond the arc for the season but just 37.8% in their last three games.

The Rockets have basically locked up the third seed in the Western Conference playoff race, sitting five games ahead of fourth-place Utah Jazz. James Harden picked up his NBA-record seventh 40-point triple-double on Saturday. Harden has posted a triple-double in four straight games and now has 19 triple-doubles for the year.
4 Boston Celtics Boston Celtics 44-26

The Celtics had their three-game winning streak snapped by the 76ers on Sunday. Boston is now 30-11 on the season against teams with a losing record, which is the best in the Eastern Conference. The C’s lead the NBA in fourth-quarter scoring with 28.5 points a game.
5 Cleveland Cavaliers Cleveland Cavaliers 46-23

The Cavs have lost 6 of 11. Cleveland scored a season-low 78 points in its 30-point loss to the Clippers on Saturday. Four of the Cavaliers’ next six games are on the road, where they are 18-16 this season.

The Wizards have lost three of four, their worst stretch since early December when they also dropped three of four games. Washington is fifth in the league in fast-break points (15.8) and 10th in the league in fast-break efficiency. The Wiz play the Celtics in Boston on Monday in a game with possible playoff implications. Washington is one-and-a-half games behind Boston in the battle for second place in the Eastern Conference, though they lead the season series 2-1.
7 Utah Jazz Utah Jazz 43-27

The Jazz, who are 20-15 on the road this season, have lost their last two road games. They have one game remaining on their trip. Utah has one and-a-half game leads over the fifth-place Los Angeles Clippers, though just a three-game cushion over seventh-place OKC.

The Clippers are 6-8 since the All-Star break. Los Angeles is a game-and-a-half ahead of OKC for the race for the fourth spot in the Western Conference. Blake Griffin is averaging 19.8 points and 7.8 rebounds while shooting 46.5% from the field in 13 games since the All-Star break.

The Bucks have vaulted into the eighth playoff spot after posting an NBA-best 8-2 record over the last 10 games. Greg Monroe has scored in double-figures in eight straight games and 17 of 19. Milwaukee ranks in the top seven of the league in both steals (7th) and blocks (6th).

The Raptors, who are fourth in the Eastern Conference, have won two straight to keep their chances of obtaining the conference’s No. 2 seed alive. Toronto is three games behind Boston and one-and-a-half in back of the Wizards. Toronto is third in the league in both effective possession ratio and extra scoring chances per game.

The Griz have won four straight. Mike Conley is having his best month of the season, averaging 22.4 points and 6.8 assists while shooting 47.3% from the field in March. Memphis had 20 assists and 10 turnovers in a win over San Antonio on Saturday, marking the 46th straight game that the Griz have more assists than turnovers.

The Nuggets have won four of five to keep their hold on the eighth seed in the Western Conference. Nikola Jokic has produced four double-doubles in the last six games, tallying at least 16 points in each of the six contests. Jokic is averaging 19.4 points along with 11.6 rebounds and 6.0 assists while shooting 65.1% in the month of March.

The Pacers have alternated wins and losses in their last 12 games. Indiana is 7-15 when failing to reach the century mark. Paul George has topped the 30-point mark three times in March and is averaging 27.5 points a game, as he is shooting 51.3% from the field.

The Pistons snapped a three-game losing streak on Sunday with a win over the Suns and are a half-game out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who had a fabulous finish to the month of February, is averaging just 10.3 points and shooting 37.5% from the field in 10 March games. Detroit commits the third-fewest fouls in the nation at 17.9 a game.

The Mavericks have fallen three games behind the Nuggets for the eighth spot in the Western Conference playoff race, as they have lost three of five. Dirk Nowitzki is having the best month of his season, reaching double-figures in 10 straight games and producing 16.3 points along with 7.4 boards while shooting 50.4% from the field. Dallas is the lowest-scoring team in the NBA, with 98.0 points a contest.
20 New Orleans Pelicans New Orleans Pelicans 29-41

The Pelicans have won four of five and are now 6-6 since acquiring DeMarcus Cousins. Anthony Davis has set a personal best with 45 double-doubles. New Orleans swept Minnesota, winning each of the games by 10 points, and is now 14-18 in double-digit games.

The Hornets kept their slim hopes alive for a playoff berth with Saturday’s victory over the Wizards. Charlotte has 7 of its 13 games remaining at home, where they are 19-15 on the season. Cody Zeller had one of his best performances of the season in the win over Washington, tallying 19 points and hauling down five boards to go along with four blocks and two steals.

The Sixers have won three of four. Dario Saric is averaging 19.3 points along with 8.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 12 games since the All-Star break. Philadelphia is 9-6 in games decided by three or fewer points, which is tied for the most in the league with the Suns.
23 Chicago Bulls Chicago Bulls 33-37

The Bulls have lost seven of 10 are one-and-a-half games out of the eighth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Chicago has the most wins (16) in the Eastern Conference against teams with at least a .500 record. Denzel Valentine registered his first double-double of the season on Saturday against the Jazz and has scored in double-figures in five consecutive games.

The Wolves have lost three in a row. Karl-Anthony Towns has reached the 30-point mark in four of five games and is averaging 31.0 points and 11.0 boards while shooting 60% from the field during this five-game stretch.

The Magic snapped a four-game losing streak with a win over the Suns on Friday. Evan Fournier has scored in double-figures in 10 consecutive games and has knocked down multiple triples in eight straight games, averaging 2.7 three-pointers in March.
28 Brooklyn Nets Brooklyn Nets 13-56

The Nets will not set a franchise record for fewest wins this year, but they need three more wins to not finish with the second-fewest in their history. Brook Lopez has been incredibly consistent, averaging 20 points in each of the four months this season. Brooklyn has used 21 players this year with Archie Goodwin making his debut on Sunday.

The Kings are 2-8 in their last 10 games, which is the second-worst record during this stretch. Sacramento has trailed by 20 or more points in 17 games this year. Buddy Hield tallied 18 or more points for the sixth time in loss to Sacramento and is shooting 50% from the three-point line in March.
